This is soooooo cool!!! I love stuff like this! I know, it’s not about personal health or fitness, but I guess it’s about the health of the planet which in turn could end up contributing to your personal health eventually. How cool is it that you can POWER YOUR ENTIRE HOME WITH THIS BATTERY BY TESLA ? He unveils a battery to power your home, completely off grid. He explains in this quick video below…
It’s called “Powerwall”. “ It’s a battery you keep in your home, that charges using electricity generated from solar panels, or when utility rates are low, and powers your home in the evening. It also protects your home against power outages by providing a backup electricity supply. Compact, automatic, and easy to put up, it allows you to be independent from the electrical grid and have the safety of having an backup in case of emergency.
You can get the smaller version for $3,000, while the larger unit will go for $3,500 (I’d go for the larger one personally). It uses the same batteries that are used in the Tesla cars. They will store power from the framework or from sun if the network goes down, they will keep on running your home. It’s going to be perfect for developing countries.
The Powerwalls will change the “whole vitality framework of the world.” according to Elan Musk (the creator/founder of Tesla)
You will be able to POWER YOUR ENTIRE HOME WITH THIS BATTERY BY TESLA around mid 2015.
They look sleek and modern, mounting on the wall; like this…
