Are Our Smartphones Slowly Killing Us?

Is your smartphone sucking the life out of you? | www.4hourbodygirl.com

Do you ever asked yourself, Are Our Smartphones Slowly Killing Us?

I’ve been on the fence lately about how often I should let my 2 year old use the phone. It’s a constant struggle between us, and between me and his father too, which doesn’t help. He thinks there’s nothing wrong with giving it to him 24/7 and I only want to give it to him as a last resort. I feel like if I give it to him all the time, I’m being a lazy parent. Does anyone else feel like that?

I’m always trying to find other alternatives to him using the phone, because I believe it’s healthier for him. I made up a little “restaurant activity case” with little toys and things for him to do, but then he just throws it on the floor and asks for the phone, which his dad promptly gives him. What do you do?

Is it really that damaging when you see every other kid in the restaurant doing the same thing? Am I harming him more by not giving it to him. I would love to hear your thought in the comments below.

This infographic gives us the answer to, “Are Our Smartphones Slowly Killing Us?”

Is Your Smartphone Sucking The Life Out Of You?

I like how this infographic gives us some solutions to prevent our smartphone from slowly killing us!

I surely do love being on my smartphone and am so thankful for it, but I do my best to be conscious of how often I am on it, especially in front of my son. I usually put it away when I’m in the company of others in order to give them my full attention and, unless I’m expecting something extremely important, which is maybe only 2-3 times per year, I say no to any device being on when we have our meals, unless it’s Skyping (is that a verb?) with family so they can be a part of our family discussions.

Do you have any tips, tricks rules around your smartphone or other devices?
